The Vanguard Economics Foundation (VE Foundation) was launched in April 2024 to empower Rwanda’s youth to take charge of their futures and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s development. Building on a decade of insights and achievements from Vanguard Economics Ltd.
A prominent player in Rwanda’s development landscape since 2015, the foundation focuses on transforming analysis into action. Along the way, we discovered a crucial need to address systemic barriers facing young Rwandans, such as limited access to mentorship, networks, and resources necessary to thrive in higher education and the workforce. Many young innovators and entrepreneurs also lack the support required to launch and sustain their ventures. The VE Foundation bridges these gaps by creating inclusive, sustainable opportunities and equipping youth with skills, resources, and networks to excel as leaders, innovators, and change makers.
